Sweet to steal a split at least in the home and away with NJ. My mind keeps drifting to Thursday's broon game though. Funny to wait this long to meet those ****ers.

Good teams find a way to win and we did just that.

Galchenyuk was incredible tonight, nice bounce back game for him.

DD was efficient and he played his best game by far. Very Happy to see him dig himself out of the pit.

Patches needs to focus and keep the streak going, we need him to dominate.

Price was great, tough screens on the goals.

Markov and Subban are the best pairing in the east, arguably the best in the NHL (and if they're not #1 they're right below at 2.) Subban just keeps proving the haters wrong, but I'm sure they're ignoring his all-world play the best they can. Hopefully TC isn't stupid and takes him. And not even for his sake, for Canada's.

Love seeing Broduer and the Devils lose. I hate playing them so much. So boring. So annoying (though that last period really opened up). I was terrified of Jagr tonight.

As another poster said if we beat these guys wednesday we can challenge for top spot against the hated Bruins. There's some great hockey coming up, but regardless of what happens against the Devils next game, we NEED to beat the Bs. And I think we're just the team to do it

Marc Dumont ‏@Dr_Habs 3m

By my count Brodeur only had 12 more saves than Subban in this game.

Nah, I don't think so. There are pro athletes, and the most important variable is that it will be the Habs' second in two nights. I'm sure we'll play Boston on their second in two nights at some point too, no doubt.

No Doubt. Rask/Price will be a heck of a battle. I like that we have our size now, and we haven't really sacrificed too much skill. Here's hoping we can push the pace against the Bs and get them on the ropes. This team plays well with a lead, we gotta go for the jugular.

lol Francois Gagnon had to insert his anti-fighting bias on L'Anti-chambre, saying they don't need Parros cause they have a good PP.

I want to see budaj vs. Boston, he had their number last year. He deserves a home start also.

Maybe Therrien does know how to handle the youngsters.
Probably helps not benching him for an entire period...

I agree with him, as long as the refs do their jobs fighting is dumb.

Looking at the schedule... Bruins won't have played a game since saturday when we face them Thursday... To me this sounds very much biased for the B's ( I'll be at the game ), but it might also favor the habs.

If it wasn't for the stupid SO in Washington, we'd be 7 in a row. When was the last time the Habs won 7 in a row?

@CanadiensMTL that was horrible class showed by both subban and markov at the end of the game. Jagr is a legend and that was classless.
What happened there?

Huge credit goes to Therrien and the coaching staff. The work on the PK, Therrien's in-game adjustments, his lineup changes, the fact that Galchenyuk scored after being benched last game.

This team appears to be legit. Hopefully players can sustain. Especially Pacioretty.
