I like this a lot, and think it makes a lot of sense. Therefore as others have said, it will never happen.

That third line should be interesting to watch at least.

Agreed, can't see that working. I would rather have TT on the top line and keep Carter and Richards together. And he's had Carter practice with Kopi before ,earlier this year and they didn't play together. I guess he's trying anything to get more offense but I think Williams is better with Kopitar. By the middle of the 2nd when the Kings still haven't scored, he'll juggle again. The Blues are not the team you play against with new line combos.

About time kopitar gets to play with Carter. Shocking that with all of our line changes we have never seen our best sniper with our best passer. Hope it works like I think it will.

Call em the 2nd line, 3rd line, whatever. You know who will be playing 20, 15, and 13 minutes a night. Or at least you should by now.

I'm looking forward to seeing Carter on the 1RW and Toffoli being reunited with Richards. Also intrigued to see Nolan playing on the LW.

Yeah... checked it again... I wasn't tripping out on 2 pots of coffee... that was the lineup. Sutter's probably just messing with us. He'll change the lineup 2 shifts into the first anyways.

I doubt it lasts but I can kind of see the rationale behind it.

For one it gets Brown off the first line so he can stop wasting golden scoring opportunities and puts him with Stoll and Williams where he doesn't have to be so smart but just play straight-ahead physical hockey. It gives Carter with Kopitar, odds are Carter will finish much more of those than Brown. King is there as a puck possession and boardwork guy, he doesn't try anything dandy you know what to expect. Richards gets the mini-Carter in Toffoli and the mini-King in Nolan add the fourth line and voila it kind of seems ok.

I can see how it would work in theory, but I doubt it lasts past second period. Heck might not even start this way.

Given the lack of scoring in recent weeks, some sort of shakeup was called for. With this lineup the Kings should be more of a threat on 3 solid lines. The Manchester line with Vey/Toffoli line didn't work very well ... too often they got stuck in their own zone it seemed. With Brown/Williams on the Stoll line should be a threat, Kopi-Carter can be a threat and Toffoli-Richards also worked very well together.

Williams is leading the team in goals, on a team lacking in scoring. You want king, who's been the best LW this year on the 4th? Oy vey.

You forgot the Kings best winger over the last three years and current Goal leader.....

You have two of the Kings most productive Wingers over the last Four years not in the lineup....
