#Esks receiver Adarius Bowman joins me now...He negotiates his own contracts, and he just signed a 2-year deal on Monday...

Glad they have him signed but shouldnt they have waited until after the expansion draft? Dont they now have to protect him to keep him when if they waited until sometime next week they could have just signed him and protected another player? Then again maybe we didnt have enough players to bother protecting.

So Ottawa selects him even if he is a FA, now what do you do? Ottawa then keeps him if they like his price or sends him back to the Esks for a draft pick or something. The Ottawa people said they probably have no interest in Free agents but anything could happen. If you value a guy high enough it's not worth the risk if you ask me.

Winnipeg names Mike O'Shea head coach.

Wow....elite CFL player for a long time but I don't know how you justify hiring a guy whose coaching experience consists of coaching special teams for 2 years.

Nah, we'd name him the GM and keep the current coach who is already failing.

No, we'd name him GM. Our coaching hire has far more experience. Plus we actually went out and got a good QB. Advantage Esks.

Chevon Walker is going to be an impact running back next year. Good choice by Ottawa.

If he can stay healthy, he reminds me of chris johnstone light, a game breaker.

That's a head scratcher that he wasn't protected.

The Esks tried to get him before and he's from here, so maybe....

Charles has re-signed with the Esks. Good move but I worry that Swerve may have overpaid again.

edit: Also Burnett signs. Good move assuming the price is right.

well, looks like Brandon Browner just burned his bridges in the NFL. it's one thing to get another suspension.
it's another when your next move is to threaten to sue the league.

Does the CFL finally uphold NFL suspensions, or will we see him back up here next summer?

I thought the CFL upheld suspensions after the Ricky Williams debacle, but to what extent I don't know.

I'm curious...if you could directly ask President Len Rhodes a question, what would it be?

Attendance is falling and the onfield product stinks. Why do you still have a job?

"What moves that you have made would you say have improved the team on the field or the fan experience?"

If I had a follow up, "And what evidence to you have to support that those moves improved either of those things?"

First serious question, thanks. I like it.

Another: you're a marketer, how does that equip you to run a pro sports team?

Also, what would you ask a board member if you had the opportunity?

Same questions but phrase them about Rhodes. "What moves has Rhodes done to...."

Coaching staff expected to be announced Tuesday. It's all done except for one who has yet to put pen to paper.

Third jerseys should be revealed the week of Labour Day or the LD rematch.
