The team is going well right now, sure. That might be a possibility. But chances are u wont ever hear Therrien yelling at Subby ot an other player the way he did ever again.

They focus way too much on the games. You know what? I've already ****ing seen the games and that was one week ago. Cut that crap in half and add some original content!

You have to be really careful with what you allow to air for the world to see. I've been a little surprised at the type of stuff they have shown in the past, like the Leblanc bit.

I'm happy as a fan that they show this stuff, but if I was working for the team, I dont think I would allow it. Its not like the habs need to gain exposure.... Its already there, whether the show is or not.

Agreed. I also think I would just simply not show Therrien on camera. At all. I cringe when he speaks. I don't know how the players can take him seriously at all.

Pretty obvious they are grooming Gorges at the next Captain. They always show his speeches during games but we never see Gionta speak.

I don't think Gio talks alot in the locker room, probably talks more on the bench or through practices. He's probably a leader by example.

Gorges and Prust seem to be the locker room motivators.

Love the "LETS GO RED/HERE WE GO RED" lines we hear on every show by Gorges.

Good ol Therrien. He must have closed 90% of his speeches this year with "ok come on let's go."

Id be annoyed by his comments especially when he doesnt lead by example... pretty sure hes pulls a Cammalleri if he isnt named captain

I haven't played sports anywhere near a pro level. But I've played team sports throughout my life and so many times the guys doing the talking are the least respected.

"Let's go guys! Let's get it done!"... To me this is fluff, not leadership.

His comments and demeanor regarding Subban during the holdout were annoying to say the least. That said a lot more about him than any of this rah-rah stuff he says in the lockerroom. To me he displayed a serious lack of leadership there.

People talk about him being the next captain but based on his play and what I've seen, I don't see him as a good choice.

Thanks SwissHabs!

I'm really impressed by Gallant, seems like he'll be a head coach in the NHL soon.
