Next two games must wins?

Columbus and get this, Phoenix , are just 4 points back, with Chicago nipping on our heels.

The Edmonton Oilers are playing at home against the road-abysmal Florida Panthers and the ever dangerous Dallas Stars. If we lose these two, what happens then?

Then we know for sure this team is the worst team in the NHL.

I have a feeling the Oilers will beat the Panthers like 6-1.

I know Edmonton is slumping and the Panthers are slowly rising but this usually happens for a team that slumps, host a bad team to break out.

All in all though I'd like the Oil to pick up a D man or two before the playoffs. (I believe this team gets 7th or 8th for sure)

Thanks for the support, but you haven't watched too many Oilers games in the past few years, have you? We usually bring the "A" game against worthy opponents and crap our pants against the league's weaker cousins. It's something we pride ourselves on

And we'll even throw in Tjarnqvist for Afinogenov. This is a one-time exploding offer...act fast!

One thing that is disconcerting is that other teams are climbing back into the playoff mix. This means the competition heats up, but also the number of sellers come the deadline could really be low. And when demand is high and supply is low the price goes up.

If we don't make the playoffs, I hope we finish last so we can get an impact player for next year.

Perhaps you haven't heard of the Blues, Flyers, Kings, Panthers...

Professional athletes are competitive and nobody tanks on purpose. The draft is often a stab in the dark, but the playoffs are guaranteed excitement. I'll take the playoffs thanks.
