Any interest in Dupuis? Come on. He was good for 2 seasons.

Yeah. Playing with Crosby. I'm convinced if Cam Janssen played with Crosby he'd have a 20 goal season.

I'd pay a 4th if the Devils could retain enough salary to make it work at the deadline. He at least has raw skill, something Vancouver's middle 6 wingers are lacking. Lots of lunch pale guys to cover for Brunner just need someone who can score, or at least make a play with the puck that doesn't immediately become a dump in.

I wouldn't mind him back. He's a decent complimentary scorer when he plays with good players.

His hockey IQ is actually pretty good. It was a bad fit to begin with. Will not be surprised if he ends up back in Detroit next year on a one year low wage deal.

Leino for Brunner. Change of scenery could do both sides good.

brunner is actually a good player , he just can't play the devils system , our coach should be fired and once he does the whole team will get better , just remember he took kovalchuk a 50goal scorer and made him a 30goal guy , how is anybody suppose to rack points up when all the coach wants u to do is cycle it down low and give a pass to the point for a clapper

As long as he has linemates who can do all the hard work for him. In addition to never backchecking, the man is allergic to the boards.

So, struggles on another NHL team (when the team struggling as a whole) makes him not an NHL player? Idiotic. He'd be a solid 3rd liner.

Only on an offensively oriented third line. He'd be lost on a checking line

Well of course. I don't trust the guy defensively by any means, but that's where we had success with him on a line of Nyquist-Andersson-Brunner

Never forget...

Watching him play last year and reading of his struggles from Devils' fans leads me to believe that he is only effective playing in Europe, which I also thought last year.

The lockout and consequently playing with Zetterberg is the only reason why he's in the NHL right now.

Whether Red Wing fans want to believe it or not, Quincey has more value than Damien Brunner.

While I understand that Brunner is struggling this year with the Devils, I think it's stupid how some Wings' fans are taking shots at him for his time with Detroit.

I actually thought he played really well and showed some possible top-6 potential. He also had an excellent playoff run and showed some great chemistry with Nyquist and Andersson, that line was very effective for us. Prior to him leaving most Wings' fans wanted the team to sign him, and despite him struggling right now, I would still take him over guys like Cleary and Samuelsson.
