That was a blast to watch, win or lose. True football weather bringing back to old-school ways. One of my dreams was to always play a game in weather like that. Great game!

What a wild game. Glad we got the win. At halftime I thought we would lose and not score any points. This crow I'm eating is delicious.

One of the best NFL games I've seen in a while. Ridiculous.

I've said it since his days at Pitt. Shady is a very unique and special talent. I'm still astonished to this day he was a second rounder. To make those kind of moves in the snow is ridiculous.

Great game by the Birds. Kelly is already proving to be a better adjuster on the fly than Reid could ever hope to be. From the first half to the second was night and day in how they performed.

Some of the moves McCoy was putting on in that mess was truly mind boggling.

Oh, he's 25. RB's shelf lifes are really short, but we should still get another 3-4 years out of him

Dallas' game tonight is GIGANTIC.

If they lose, they will be 1 game out.

Eagles play MINN next week in a dome, conditions favor them there.

Dallas goes to GB to play them with Rodgers returning and GB's season isn't over yet, they still have playoff possibilities.

Eagles could be up 2 games with 2 to play after next weekend.

On some runs, Shady doesn't even look real. His precision cuts and jukes are insane. I wasn't really old enough to see Barry Sanders play (he retired when I was 8 years old.) How does Shady measure up to the great Barry?

Honestly, they are pretty damn close. I think Barry was smaller and faster, quickness they are pretty close.

Shady has insane amount of respect for Sanders and I think he said this week, they aren't even in the same conversation.

Sanders 5'8" 200lbs

McCoy 5'11" 208lbs

So just sheer size difference, Sanders would probably look more elusive by eye. Also based on what I can find Sanders ran a 4.35 40, Shady ran a 4.5 40. Shady is fast, but Sanders in space once you broke away was impossible to catch

Probably the closest to him that anyone has come, Westbrook is up there too. Westbrook was actually pretty similar to Sanders in size and in the open field.

EDIT: You could probably throw Marshall Faulk in there too. I think Mccoy relies on the jukes more so than Wetbrook and Faulk, so in that regard he's closer to Sanders. Watch some Sanders highlights, he was definitely more "jukey" than Mccoy, which doesn't seem possible until you see it.

I'm not sure of this, but I'm willing to bet a good chunk of that speed came directly from his first step. In hockey terms he was Pavel Bure. He'd stop moving completely on the field which is usually a big mistake, but he was able to get to top speed so quickly that it didn't matter.

The fact that he was able to come to a complete stop, and still run away from someone is what allowed him to be as east and west as he was.

Not sure if this is true, but I heard a stat that said the year he went for 2,000 yards he actually lost 1,000. So he actually rushed for 3,000 positive yards that year.

Sanders just seemed to have his own set of physics going on from his waist down...

the slow mo's of his cuts look physically impossible, he just stops dead then starts again while all the D are stumbling around looking like they are on normal speed and he is at x2. I read his things were far bigger than his waist in circumference though... so that kind of half explains how he was able to do that kind of stuff. I think 32-33 thigh 28 waist. Sanders also apparently had a 42inch vertical. Freak. There is documentation of him dunking quite easily at an ESPN event.

But yeh, I reckon Faulk and Shady are the closest to him in those terms. I remember a Faulk catch out of the backfield when he was with the Rams where he just stopped instantly... a tackler flew in front of him attempting the tackle, went off the field and Faulk just resumed like he had never stopped running.

Pretty awesome that Shady pretty much straight up replaced Westbrook... two of the most exciting and versatile runners in recent NFL history. Westbrook also always seemed far faster than his recorded 40 suggests.

Man, it would be REALLY nice to see the cowboys go down tonight.

I don't see the eagles winning out (yes I'm a pessimist). So the cowboys need to lose two of their last four

Bears up 21 with a little over a quarter to go! I know that lead isn't safe in the NFL, but if the Bears can keep dominating Dallas on the ground, this could be looking good.

And then imagine, Rodgers coming back next week to dominate Dallas....

Wow, turnover on downs for Dallas. Romo's not on the same page as the rest of the team. I think da Bears can ice this game with a touchdown here.
