Your team's sniper to the Canucks

The Sedins need a goal scoring RW. I'm thinking either Michael Ryder or Devin Setoguchi. Basically any legit top six player that can get wait in the slot while the Sedins do the tough work along the boards. The Canucks 2014 first and top prospects are unavailable.

Who are you considering as top prospects? How can you trade crap for gold?

not sure if the Sedins need a sniper, they just need someone to shovel the puck in the net while they battle along the boards, Burrows is injured/in a funk and while Kassian is huge and able to hold his own in front of the net he's really more of a playmaker

But he did pot five in five games last year playing with the sedins right? Plug him into that line and play Welsh on the 4th. Done.

The canucks top prospects are shinkaruk and Horvat. I'm not interested in a high end player like thomas vanek. I want a mid tier goal scorer like ryder. The most I'd trade is a 2nd and b prospects.

Not on my team but I think Matt Moulson would fit in Van.

Just call up Jensen and see if Torts & co. can light a fire under that kids ass. So who are Canuck B prospects? Jensen, Corrado, that little guy that always seems to be hurt?

Jensen, while reportedly looking okay in the AHL, is not producing goals at all. He isn't the answer to our goal scoring woes this season.

Any prospect other than Horvat and Shinkaruk could be made available. Hence, both Jensen and Gaunce could be had. One of Corrado or Tanev could be had as well.

I would move Burrows and/or Kassian along with prospects like Corrado/Gaunce/Schroeder/Jensen if we could bring in the right player to play with the Sedins who is the right age to be a part of the "next wave" of Canucks. Ideally a player who can handle himself around the boards, can play a cycle game, not afraid to drive to the net, and have an above average shot. Does that player exist? And can a package of

Kassian
Burrows
Corrado/Gaunce/Schroeder/Jensen

Bring him to Vancouver?

Well stated. A lesser package could get Grabner back. Lower value than his first Long Island year at the moment. I thought he looked good in his stint in blue and green.

Callahan fits that description pretty nicely.

Callahan is great player but he's not a natural goal scorer. Most of his goals are hard work dirty goals. Matt Molson would be a better option but the asking price is too high.

GMMB holds strong and demands Edler and Horvat. I know you guys probably balk but MaxPac is so important to us it would require a bit of an overpayment.

Horvat will not be traded. He is the future captain most likely of this team. What would entice you that doesn't involve Horvat, Shinkaruk or Kesler?

Not much. I am in agreement on Horvat with you and understand your position. No deal to be made I guess

Stempniak might actually look pretty good with the Sedin's, not sure what the asking price would be.

Is nice to have a top prospect that other fanbases seem to covet again. It's been too long.
