As I recall them, the three Habs in the bottom color photo are Claude Provost (down on the ice), Tom Johnson, and Jacques Plante.

I agree with you about how tough the goaltenders were but you are mistaken about the high shots! Frank Mahovlich once fired a slap shot at Gump Worsley from fairly close range when Worsley didn't wear a mask. And of course you know about Andy Bathgate's shot that prompted Plante to put his mask on. I actually attended that game in the old Madison Square Garden. After goaltenders started wearing masks, Gerry Cheevers marked his at the many spots that stopped shots. By the way, the shots weren't close to 100 mph in those days because not only weren't the wooden sticks high tech (no "whip" to them), they were heavier and clumsier to use. The only Hab I recall using a slap shot in the late 1950s was Bernie Geoffrion. Maurice and Henri Richard, Dickie Moore, and Jean Béliveau didn't.

Only one row of seats in those days and all of them ice-level! What did we miss!

The third man in the picture with the Rocket, Boom-Boom and their wives is Ken Mosdell. Here's another picture.

LITTLE KNOWN FACT: Players back then could only have brown or
dark hair and were required by contract to skate with a dumb smile
and no helmet all game long, this being the result of a contract they
had with Brylcreem who wanted to show their hair off and Colgate
who wanted their smiles to be seen. Ah the good ole times huh...
