Not with the season he's having so far! Is he injured or what?

I've seen Horvat play at least 15 times. 5 times this year. His game seems to keep progressing. He plays with the kind of poise that I have seen in other former Knights who became NHLers...Nash, Perry, Kane, Gagner, Tavares. I would have put my money on Domi being the better NHLer last year, but this year, Horvat just seems like such a mature NHL ready player and IMO has leapfrogged Domi as the most promising forward Prospect on the Knights.

Side note Zadorov has that same look on D. Incredible maturity to his game

Side form Anson Carter coming out of retirement, I've always thought Patric Hornqvist would be the best fit alongside the twins.

Isn't he 18 years old? I almost feel bad for the guy with that amount of pressure. Penciling in a #9 draft pick to be your captain less than a year from when he was drafted is kind of dangerous IMO.

I'd love to deal for Moulson. What'll it take Buffalo? Our 2014 1st rounder?

Actually Alex Burrows is a much better fit with the twins than Carter was.

Well he's pretty much a lock to be an NHLer and is a great leader. He's just a guy I see with the "captain" material when the Sedins retire.

I don't think we have him penciled in for the next captain.

I think he has the potential to be a a captain

Sorry guys. I wish he didn't propose that in the first place. Edler + Horvat is the kind of overpayment we'd require, but you don't make an offer ASKING for an overpayment.

Cammalleri and Lupul are the two I like that are tossed around more recently.

Lupul certainly intrigues me, don't get me wrong he has many flaws but he's the type of offensive player we've been lacking for years. He's obviously atrocious defensively but paired with a guy like Kesler I don't see that being as much of an issue.

i don't think many of you appreciate what burrows brings (brought?) to the sedins. i mean, yeah a guy like michael ryder or matt moulson or patric hornqvist or some other slow moving good hands in the slot guy would be fine. but burrows was also the first man in, retrieving pucks, causing turnovers. he also was their defensive safety valve. there are guys in the league that can fill that role, but none that we can afford.

shane doan you sappy sob, you coulda been a contender.

Lupul would be dynamite with the Sedins imo.

I wouldn't mind Ryder or Setogouchi as additions, mostly because we do need another quality forward who is a more efficient shooter.

But these guys aren't really "legit" snipers or top-sixers. In terms of overall effectiveness they're no better than Higgins. Actually, Higgins is a lot better.

I'd take a Seto or Ryder at a cheap price. But they're definitely not the "missing link" top-six player we're looking for.

Too much. Edler 1 for 1. That is it. Otherwise no deal to be made.

whats your best offer for Ryder?

Devils need picks and close to NHL ready forward prospects.
