Hard to imagine he's got any desire to come back after the way last time ended, on top of the massive pay cut he would have to take, if the estimates published a few weeks back are even close to accurate.
Unless he gets the itch to chase a Stanley Cup, I imagine it's slim to none we see him state side.
Its a very strange story because as you know he played junior career in Quebec-language culture even different that rest of NA.He came to Canada I would have thought to play in Nhl.Maybe its money but maybe something else
I'm sure he's just dying to move halfway across the globe away from his home country in order to take a massive paycut, play in a more physical league, and violate an existing contract so he can play for a coach he spent a whole two years with when he was 18.
Was a high drafted player who left the team that drafted him who were/are desperate for a player like him for more money and fame to play at home.
Returned for the playoffs, when the preds were contenders and was caught at a bar breaking curfew the night before a second-round playoff game. Causing a controversy at the time.
Maybe its just my opinion of him, but his actions dont back up his case.
He has a KHL contract until 2016, when he'll be 30. I could see him wanting to give the NHL another shot at some point, but I'd imagine it won't be in 2016 if he is still getting offered huge money in Moscow.
