We scored an empty netter as well. Amazing night. The things that happened tonight never, ever happen.

That was the single most grittiest win in Predator history. In other words, just like how Trotz drew it up.

Hutton and the 4th line with a very good game. The Rangers are us with a few more skill players. It was nice being on the other side of 3-1 and an empty net and scoring. We won a game. Glad we didn't embarrass ourselves on National TV game. Wish we were in the east.

Hopefully this will carry over to the Stars game on Thursday. At least we can have a positive feeling walking into the arena.

Jim Diamond ‏@diamondhockey 3m
Under Phoenix playoff series rules, even if Craig Smith is healthy, he won't be back in the lineup Thursday.

Probably for the better, he needs to have his minutes managed a bit.

Last 5 games: 30:43, 29:40, 24:40, 12:42, 9:29. Crazy progression there. Honestly though, I'd prefer him not even being at that 24:20 on a nightly basis, he'd be toast by the all-star break.

Fisher, Stalberg, Nystrom: >62 mins TOI, 6 shots (4 by Nystrom), 0 pts, -1

Ewwwww

Also disturbing, Wilson has 5 pts over his last 16 since the 4 point game.

Jones is averaging over 23 minutes a game. That's almost unheard of for a 19 year old defenseman. I can't remember the last time...

He's often playing alongside the best dman in the league. He's playing in a system that has a high success rate of developing defenseman.

Suck it up Mrs. Jones.

Though I do share her offense frustration.

it may be a joke, but it's pretty much also a guarantee... You're not changing up that fourth line after the game they had. THAT would be bad coaching.

Nystrom Fisher Stalberg is a horrible line. I like putting Wilson with Cullen as nothing else has worked but why not Stalberg or Smith with them. We've got to get Wilson going and find the right linemates for him.

Way to go Perds! I was watching at work; I'll take it. Still can't believe Clune / Hutton / Hendricks were the three stars; would love to see the Vegas odds on that one.
