Rumour: Generals add Russian Defenceman

Tonight at the rink there were rumours of the Gens getting a 88 Russian defenceman by the name of Dimitri Levin who has been playing for Val'dor in the Q. This would make sense because he is playing for the Lindsay Muskies (gens affiliate)....He doesn't have great stats though but a big boy......i hope sellwood doesnt think hes the answer to all our problems on the back end.

He won't be unless he plays like Demidov (think that is how you spell it ) and has two or three brothers that he can bring along.

But seriously isn't this year for the Gens about just making the playoffs and getting some experience. For awhile just getting there seemed to be up for grabs but with the recent aquisition of a reliable goalie along with Astons return I think they can have a good second half.
The Gens have very few good 87 or 88 players and are still paying the price for poor drafting in those years. The current bunch of young guys should be at their best in two years.
