Sami has been doing a great job sealing players off in the corners and moving the puck up the ice and right onto forwards sticks. He doesn't get the tough matchups like Rev but he's waaaaaaaay better at moving the puck up the ice.

Personally I don't think either should come out of the lineup. It makes such a difference actually having right-handed shooting d-men on the right side. What do we do when Souray's healthy? Who knows if this unit will all be healthy themselves when that time comes.

For those of you who have the Ducks Mobile App, there are a few pictures in the photo gallery of Silf during the morning skate yesterday. Getting close. *knock on wood*

Can we have Silf play with Bonino just so we can call it the Silfverboner line?

The #NHLDucks have reassigned David Steckel, Alex Grant and Nolan Yonkman to the @NorfolkAdmirals (AHL):
I thought Steckel played pretty good while up. I get we don't really have room for him, but I wish we did. The 4th line has been really good since he was centering it.

Incoming Beauchemin, MP22, and Fistric.

Hard to see that as anything but a positive that they're getting healthy.

Was hoping Grant could get the chance to continue his scoring streak.

I'm wondering if this is in fact an indication these players are ready to return or if the fact that Norfolk plays twice before we play again? Hopefully we see Beauch and Perreault back in the lineup Sunday.

I thought he played pretty well also but the only way he sticks around is if Perreault is traded or scratched. That's just not realistic. It's encouraging though that he did such a good job while up with the team.

Yeah which is often overlooked. Every time I see a Fowler Souray pairing proposed I wonder which one would play the right? Fowler is so much better on the left and I've never seen Souray on the right.

Exactly - does the upgrade of Souray over Lovejoy offset the downgrade of Fowler on the right vs Fowler on the left. I'm not convinced it necessarily does.

Outcry about Grant reassignment on Stephens twitter is quite hilarious. Besides two goals it was painfully obvious he's not an NHL defenseman.

Doesn't sound like Jakob is too far off.

Fowler - Lovejoy pairing has been working extremely well. Yes, let's split them up, makes sense, reminds me of "let's split Cogs-Saku-Winnik" movement.

I'm kinda disappointed Steckel got sent down but MP said he was injured for two weeks before he finally went on IR, which would explain why he wasn't moving as well. who goes down when silf returns?

Unless I've miscounted when Silf returns we will have 14 forwards on the roster so nobody needs to go down.
