-Price went back to playing well. Again didn't allow more than 2 and made big stops, especially during the 5min major.
-Galchenyuk scored. He seems to be scoring goals more lately, this is a good sign. I was worried about his ability to be a goal scorer as well as a good passer. speaking of which he made some nice passes as well.
-Plekanec is still our best forward.
-Penalty Kill was good.
....That's about it
Price didnt played poorly vs the Kings. Everyone was awful and he had no chance on any of the goals scored on him.
Flying in and knocking the puck further into the net? Honestly wouldn't have been surprised if he gloved it in again..
1 goal in his last 18 games, always playing with Plekanec, always playing the PP and always on in the last minute trying to a tie a game..
Our team isn't exactly an offensive powerhouse. Contrary to popular belief there isn't a single line or player who scores consistently.
While I would never want to re-sign gionta and I look forward to when we turn the page, It's a little bit overboard to ask why someone who grinds it out is there on a 6 on 5. The guy wins a lot of battles.
Mini-slump. The team isn't as great as they showed us. And not as bad as they are showing right now. That's what average teams do....wins....and lose. We've won more than we lost I guess we are allowed to slump a little....Let's hope the end of it is near.
But in the end....you cannot win with so many passengers on the team. I mean...seriously.
