Winning the next two would be huge. Need to take it one at a time obviously.

After the last game (double meaning here, I'm talking about yesterday's game as well as the 7-0 drubbing the Caps put on the Flyers) I'm pretty pumped for this one.

This is tough for me. Have to go out to catch the Eagles game. Have CI at home. Won't find a place on Sunday that will put both on.

Can't pay attention to two games at once.

Also, Eagles games are a family event. Everyone else in the family is a Flyers fan, but no where near the level that I am.

Did you see the Hartnell 'cribs' a few years back? I think he had three screens next to each other! His wife looked very tense/forcing a smile when he was talking about watching several games at once... though he did say he was considerate and did not put the sound on.

The Caps lost in a 10 round shootout last night, it was entertaining to watch, but here's to the Flyers coming out with the same to better effort they did against the Habs

Two wins against the Caps would put this team in contention for second in the division. Then with two games against the Jackets, the Flyers have the chance to put themselves comfortably in a playoff spot by the end of the week.

The games against the Caps would be nice, but I'd take a split against them if it meant taking both against CBJ.

More physical and higher scoring team than the Habs, better be ready. Hopefully they can keep up and win this.

Sean Couturier was not at today's practice due to a death in his family. No word on if that will affect his status for tomorrow's game.

Edit: he is expected to play.

Attending his Grandmas funeral... I believe maybe Vikke posted about her death over a week ago. So I imagine he will be back for tomorrow.

Will there be some bad blood from the Caps' point of view? From last time? Not sure which I would like to see. A focused, calm game aimed purely at winning or a heated, exciting game. The latter tends to be more fun to watch when the Flyers play. Besides, it may stop them from coasting and just letting time pass. It happens frequently with this bunch.

I play Emery.

2 pts isn't worth Wash trying to KO Mason.

Steve Mason is confirmed as the starter for this game.

Philipp Grubauer is Washington's goalie.

Is Mason likely the scheduled G or are the Flyers just trying to avoid any Emery messes? Either way it kind of seems like Mason gets a raw deal, he's probably going to be run from every angle conceivable for 60 minutes.

Scheduled goalie. He is coming off a win and not part of any back-to-back schedule. The teams also meet in two days.
