Good for Schenn I guess. Who cares as long as he's not suspended. I say that not cause I don't think it was necessarily of a suspension (not saying I do either) but more so cause the Flyers need every bit of offense they can get and Schenn is one second on the team in pts and more importantly pts/60 minutes.

The comparison is appropriate in the sense that there is no deterant for players to maintain discipline (in fear of a fine) if the fine is the equivalent to a speeding ticket.

If the NHL could fine players $500K for head shots, you'd certainly see fewer.
