Not since Wayne Gretzky hit the national scene as a 17-year-old has a teenager entered professional hockey like Crosby. Before he played a game in the NHL, Crosby had national endorsement deals with Reebok and Gatorade. His face was recognizable throughout Canada before he even slipped on a jersey.

He was talking about Karlsson being in and I think he said something like "we might not have Tails tonight but we'll see" I'll have to listen again..

Edit: he said "I'm not sure if will have Tim Taylor tonight".... he said it not to long after him saying something about he wished AK had a burr up his butt...lol

Article on Martin St. Louis from the Pittsburg Post-Gazette..

Marty looks like hes trying to be an opera singer in that picture....

I'm excited about tonight!

With a Tampa win, and a WSH, BOS and TOR loss, Tampa will finally be in the playoff picture again, as they'll overtake Toronto(on the basis of Tampa having more wins) for the 8th seed in the playoffs!

I'd prefer the Bolts to go with Holmqvist tonight, as he was excellent Sunday night against the Pens.

My guess is that his career is over. If he was making progress, it would have been reported. I doubt we see Rob back this year and in the off-season (maybe as early as March or April) he'll probably retire. Shame the end of his career will come because of a hit in the preseason.

Great play by Dan Boyle there. I honestly don't understand why he catches so much heat.

Vinny has seriously got to be one of the best in one on one/one on none situations. He's so creative, it'd just be nice if it resulted in goals more often.

I wonder if Mike caught Melichar's jockstrap after Vinny abused him.

Did anyone happen to catch that Cory Sarich hip check on Recchi? That was awesome. We need more of that. Nice period by Sarich but he had a wide open shot with alot of traffic in front and he hesitated. Gotta let that one go as soon as it's on the blade.

By the way, VinnyL gives the best interviews on the team.

So Dan Boyle is our MVP according to The Chief.

Thoughts?
