It's good to let it out, but you just have to hope it gets the others going, instead of them getting sick of the yelling resulting in a bad team spirit or whatever.

Ha ha, glad to hear its the same old Kari. I remember a game in Chicago when he smashed his stick. I got the stick a few weeks later.

I don't remember if it was the same game, but there was one where he was getting hosed by the ref's non-calls, so he chucked his water bottle down toward the penalty box, then proceeded to remove the net from the pegs and shove that toward center ice.

I like it when the goalie shows some fire. Nice to know he gets into the game.

Ed Belfor, Cujo, Nurminen (yeah its a strech with these guys), Roy, Hasek, all great goalies all had attitude problems. Lehtonen might be quick to blow up, but he is also just a quick to calm down and get back in the game. You need not worry about his attitude. Just don't leave him in for a seven goal schelacking and make him request a trade.

Wow, I wish I was at that game because I can't stop laughing trying to picture him doing that.

Agreed. Emotion makes a good player/goalie.

Brodeur, Huet and Kipper are pretty much some of the best this year, yet they're calm and collected. Seriously, whatever works for each goalie is what's good.

But there's an interesting cultural difference between the USA an' Finland in the use of "love". In Finland you say "minä rakastan sinua" only when you really, really, really mean it. Like when you've been together with a girl for a coulple of years or something...

The expressions we use are kinda lame, so we use curseworsds to emphazise stuff:
Kari on ihan vitun kuningas (Kari's the ****ing king)
Kari on ihan vitun hyvä pelaaja (Kari's a ****ing good player)
Kari on vittu paras (Kari's the ****ing best)
