The West is loaded. They would have the 4th best record in the East. Not sure how long he'll be out yet. It was non-displaced.

Doing some quick research I learned the non displaced fracture is the least serious fracture.

Here's a good read:

http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/pos...as-victory-lab

Philadelphia’s scientific bent can seem academic at first blush, but on closer inspection it looks more like good old fashioned common sense. Winning basketball requires, at its most basic level, great players to be in great shape and play in a great scheme. The Sixers are simply using the best facts available to get an edge in each of these areas.

It will take time though. Maybe even years before the machine Hinkie has built starts churning out championship caliber teams, but that’s fine. Hinkie and the Sixers are willing to wait. Waiting itself might be part of the plan.

It's pretty disgraceful how bad the East is, only TWO teams with winning records. (Pacers and Heat)

This tank battle may surpass the one below....

Quote:
The Battle of Medina Ridge was a decisive tank battle fought on February 27, 1991, during the Gulf War, between the U.S. 1st Armored Division and the 2nd Brigade of the Iraqi Republican Guard Medina Luminous Division outside Basra. Medina Ridge is the name American troops gave to a low rise, approximately seven miles (11 km) long.

The battle, which was waged over approximately two hours, was the largest tank battle of the war and the largest tank battle in United States history

The Sixers being sold really contributes to the new blood being brought in. I don't see that happening with the Flyers.

Sixers are 3.5 point favorites in case you wanted to know. They are home. They do their best work at the WFC.

MCW triple double. Afflalo causes the Sixers not to cover the spread with meaningless three as time expires.

The Magic had no legs in the second OT. Second game of a back-to-back without Nelson and Vucevic. They had a lot of open looks late. Sixers catch yet another break.

So basically, MCW is looking to be the real deal. That's so awesome.

Four guys in NBA history have had a Quadruple double in a game. The way MCW piles up rebounds and steals I believe he will join that group someday. He got close in the opening game vs Miami with 22pts, 12ast, 9 stl, 7 rbd. And he only played 36 mins !

His numbers get a bit inflated due to the system and his role in the offense, but he's a promising player no doubt.

MCW is a great building piece, just gotta wait until we find out where we are drafting and then I can play mock drafts through my mind. Really would like a 2 guard to have a serious back-court of MCW and _____________.

Going to be difficult for the Sixers to get a good draft pick with the league sucking. The East is absolutely terrible right now with all but 3 of the teams below .500

They will still get a good draft pick but top 3 or 5 might be a challenge considering how teams are tanking and some seemingly very deliberately...

Sixers of course have been accused by GM's of doing the same..saying they have money and didn't use it to sign any real legit starters. They were forced to sign players to meet the league min. However, Sixers play is anything but tanking....

The sixers are going to eventually trade Turner and Hawes, which will make them worse than they already are. We will have a top 5 pick. Hinkie knows.

Prior to the Sixers' game Saturday night, the team announced that Michael Carter-Williams is being treated at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for right knee soreness caused by a skin infection on the front of his right knee.

The rookie point guard is listed as day to day.

Carter-Williams, missing his second straight game tonight, is under the care of head team physician Dr. Brian Sennett and infectious disease specialist Dr. Neil Fishman.

The tank is chugging along as expected ladies and gentlemen. Record of 1-9 in our last 10. Can't wait until MCW comes back because the games are brutal to watch without him. Wroten has been good filling in for MCW. What a steal that trade was.

I've been watching a lot of CBB and the max potential of Joel Embiid trumps every other prospect, IMO. Parker has been impressive and so has Wiggins for the most part. Randle really sucked tonight vs. UNC. My goal this week is to watch a UCLA game and check out Zach LaVine. I hear he is a Westbrook clone.
