Back to back vintage Giroux goals. That's what I like to see.

EDIT: What a pass by Raffl.

Not the best period, but good job to pull the goal back at the end of the period; those goals can be killers.

Looks like a pretty even game. Gotta avoid the penalty box to not make it easy for the Caps...

8 goals in 18 games for Giroux now since he broke the 0, he's going at quite a decent pace.

He's still not looking like the Giroux of old, but he's putting the goals and points up.

The first penalty against Giroux was fine, I didn't complain about that at all, even though I think it's a kinda dumb rule.

The slash penalty was iffy because it looked like the stick broke very easily and the only reason they called it was when the caps player started yelling at the ref.

What I was talking about were two blatant penalties against Flyers that weren't called but certainly should have been. A very obvious interference on Schenn, a hook on Giroux, and I think there was another interference as well but I can't really remember.

But apparently if I say the refs screwed up that means I'm setting up to use that as an excuse for a loss? Haha ok bud.

And the Flyers have no talent? It seems more like you're determined to complain about the players no matter what happens.

Yes, a good proportion of these threads are always complaining about the refs when things aren't going the Flyers way, it's never the players themselves though.

Blaming the refs is a total cop out.

Did you honestly just say that these thread are full of complains about refs but NOT complaints about the players themselves?!?!?!?!?!?!

Blaming the refs for the result of the game is a cop out most of the time. Theres nothing wrong with complaining for a non call when legit IMO. The interference non call on Brayden was pretty ridiculous.

Outside of Hartnell, Schenn, or whatever player is in the doghouse around here? Yes.

Disagree. Pretty much everyone barring Couts, Downie, Read and Mason has taken criticism on this board this year. I think most people acknowledge that the majority of this team has underperformed this year. That non-call on Schenn was pretty bad too

Hartnell misses high and wide and it's nearly in our net 10 seconds later.
