Lol, Hutton with the bear hug on Bartley at the end of the game. Loving the emotion.

Really proud of Hutton. He's played his balls off lately. Neither of those goals were his fault.

Preds win. Big goal by Stalberg and Hutton along with Weber and Josi with some big saves there at the end. Hutton has made an amazing turnaround along with the team in the last 3 games.

The Sharks should play w/o a netminder more often. It seems to put a spark in them.

Brutal tease for their fans there at the end but SJ did make it interesting.

Great game tonight. Maybe they're turning the corner. That has to be one of the craziest last five minutes I've seen in a while.

Amazed and pleased at Huttons turnaround. Don't think even a healthy Rinne would have done any better tonite...

That was an awesome first game of the year for me and my fiancee to be at!! Hutton looked really good, and our defense played very strong on the puck and forcheck, except for the 2 brain farts that led to the 2 goals. The PP goal by Josi was awesome!! It was setup perfectly and it was fun to watch right in front of us, and it was very nice to see Stalberg blow by everyone and actually bury the puck in the back of the net! We also had a few glimpses of pissed off Weber thrown in there too, tonight! Which we can never have too much of, IMO!

Time to get a little rest before the Blackhawks come to town and try to get some retribution for their butt kicking here last time!

from Sports Club Stats

So our chances to make the playoffs just went up by a whopping 1.4% (from 4 to 5.4)

The only way we are making the playoffs is if MN and Col have a complete meltdown. We couldn't even gain 2pts on one of them as they played each other and went to OT. If we were in the east we'd be 2pts out of a playoff spot.

Minny is the team we need to catch if we want to make it in. 8 points back with 2 games in hand. Not quite as bleak as it was a couple weeks ago, but still a tall order if we continue to be as inconsistent as we have been.

16-14-3 isn't that bad with no Rinne. It is just the other west teams playing so darn well while we were playing so bad. Lots of hockey to played and a lot can happen we can't control what other teams do just ourselves.

These guys ain't so ****ing bad!

Watched on delay again; great game and big win. I did not think we would pull this one out to be honest. The end scared the hell out of me though; Josi made a chest save on a sure goal to hold on to the W.

How bothered is everyone that the Sharks finally woke up in the last 15 minutes of the game and played like the team that's #3 in the West? Including around 15 shots and scoring twice? Maybe they could not have sustained that kind of pressure for any longer, but the Preds sure couldn't have withstood it, either.

We gave them a PP, had Klein out of the picture for 5 mins, then still held them off well enough to survive a mix of four 30+ point forwards, another at 24 points, and one d-man with 17 points when they pulled the goalie and went for broke. It got ugly, but the boys did what they needed to while avoiding icing the puck in the waning seconds.

I have been sick all weekend, so I missed the game. I refuse to believe the report said on Hutton. Next you all will say Ellis played well....
