Regularly angle work travel so it doesnt conflict with hockey during the season. Not nearly committed as some in here though.

I've been out all season with knee surgery but haven't missed watching a game yet. Just nice to get out of the house and go to the rink to drink some beers with the boys.

Oh man, **** that. I would go absolutely crazy watching one of my teams play from the stands. I'd tear my hair out. I'd be constantly pacing and slamming beers the entire time.

We have injured guys hang w/us on the bench at times. Run the door, look for coaching tips that we might not see or be acting on yet, etc. Good times!

In a championship game with about a minute left, we had a guy with no shoulder pads lay out to block a shot that most likely would have gone in to tie the game late. Quite the souvenir he has now on his collarbone/neck.

I love when guys do this and I have done this when injured. Sometimes you can be a calming influence, pass along some much needed perspective, or get the water bottles filled for the third period.
