You mean wrong in saying this team needs a faceoff guy more than Colton Orr in the lineup?

That Immonen is a much better overall player than Orr and deserved a shot over guys like Hossa, Hall, Ward and Orr?

Please go back through my old post about Immonen and show me where i'm wrong....

Nope I mean your wrong...in not relating this at all to Colton Orr. I mean your wrong in that Jarko Immonen does not help this team...otherwise he'd be here. Over a guy like Hall or Orr maybe...did he get one...yes? Did he impress? Apparently not.

So faceoffs are not important?

You realize and i know this is going to be tough to take...You see more faceoffs in a game than fights...

i killed the Rangers for calling him up but he deserved the same shot Hall was given. He certainly adds more to the lineup than Hall does...

For you to say maybe after Orrs name actually made me laugh...

Guys, you are so off-track here.

This is not about FACE-OFFS vs. fighting or whatever.

What it is about is who is the better overall player? You want to keep Orr for toughness, keep him. Want to keep Hall in there for toughness, keep him.

But there is no comparing Hossa with Immonen:

Marcel Hossa is the anti-Marian Hossa in that Marcel Hossa has NO scoring touch, ZERO. Sure, he looks nice circling with the puck left and right...UNTIL someone finally takes it away from him. In the same situation, Immonen would make a nice pass to a teammate instead of giving away the puck!

Even when Hossa does finally shoot, his shot is weak and innacurate, it is a minor-league shot at best.

Again, there is NO comparing these 2 players. As far as I know, the ONLY reason why Hossa is in the lineup is because Sather feels he is God after trading for him! Renney needs to GROW SOME BALLS and sit this guy and let Immonen play already!

For SoS...

it is about faceoffs. He'd rather see a guy out there with a 65% faceoff percentage than see Orr get into 1 fight every 7 or 8 games and do nothing else. He feels that a guy that wins faceoffs brings more to the table than what Orr brings. It's about comparing the two in the lineup and what the expected result would be. SoS feels that Immonen being in the lineup at the expense of Orr would result in more wins.

who cares???

Do you realize ANYTHING can happen in a fight.....

I'll debate all day but when you start reaching with stuff like this there is no point..

Tell me why Fighting (And that is all Orr is good for) and laziness (and that's what we are seeing from Hall) are better than a guy who can win faceoffs with the best in the NHL..

With all things being equal Immonen has more value than 4 of our forwards because of his faceoff abilty..

The Rangers could mask alot of problems if they had a guy that consistanly won faceoffs...

ANYTHING can happen in a fight? Which is why you constantly bash Orr and claim that he never has a shot at winning one? As to your points about Immonen...the reason why is...
as Fletch said earlier...I believe that protecting stars..and making it known to oppositions that if you wanna do something to us...then we'll do it to you...is more important than having a guy who is exceptional at winning faceoffs. Faceoffs is not costing us games right now. Sticking up for each other...and not playing tough, physical hockey could very well be doing so
