Yeah I agree Henke needs a rest although he's played well against Ottawa this year. I think if Weekes doesn't start this game, he will play on saturday.
2nd straight game I'll be late for. Oh well..didn't work last time...make it work this time. Gonna have to play physical and stick up for each other...and on our home ice...I'll be very interested to see how the crowd reacts to our guys getting run without a response.
its time for weekes to get a start, but I don't know that the Ottawa Senators is the best team to put him in against after having not played for a while. I would rather have waited until saturday against Boston. But I guess we'll see if it pays off.
Same here.. Maybe with Weekes in net the team will try to keep it simple.. He has a knack for stepping in after a long layoff and stealing a couple games.. (I.E. against the Ducks and Sharks)

Sorry guys but Ive lost faith in this team. 4-2 Ottawa, I hope Im wrong but I see Neil doing whatever he wants and Mcgrattan just laughing at us as he skates by our bench. And Malik and Roszival should get assists on 2-3 goals, except they will goals for Ottawa.

Chris Neil and Schulburt. If at home we dont play physical, there is a big problem with this teams heart. I predict 6-2 Sens. Goals for Rangers by Jagr and Cullen.

I'm on fire this year...6-0, so hopefully that continues. (But that also includes me getting arrested once, and getting a summons for an open container...but I'll take the pain so long as the Rangers win haha).

Not because Hank has been bad, but because hes still young and its time for a rest. Low and behold that mine and others opinions will be different if they lose and he gives up some softies. Im also glad Rachunek is back, he has really started to show some improvment to his game in recent weeks. Lets Go Rangers!!!!!

If I wasn't going to this game, I'd say start Weekes, but since I'm going, obviously I'd wanna see Hank in net...you don't pay to see Weekes in net.
But it is best for the Rangers to start Weekes...they better come out fired up, if they don't, I will question if Renney has lost the team.
I'm all for Weekes getting a start, but is it a good idea to start him against Ottawa? I mean, he is capable but he also has to be a little rusty after not playing in 8 games. Stating the obvious here but the team needs to come out and show a solid effort tonight,even if they dont win. They cant allow themselves to get out played for a second straight game and not at home, the Sens will come out flying so the Rangers need to match the intensity. Orr will be out for another game so Hollweg and Orts are going to need to throw the body, everyone else will also, but especially these guys. I hope Renneys fustration came across after the last game and lights a fight under these guys. But with how this season has been going, its truely anyones guess as to how the team will respond. Does anyone know who the refs are for this game? Last night McGoof did the Devils/Blues game so i'm a little afraid that he is going to be at the Garden tonight.
I am looking foward to this game. Every game this year against ottawa, we have seen our team be very physical... let me rephrase that-- we have seen our team be the most physical they can be (better?). With that disheartening loss to the isles, and the team knowing they screwed up royally, i am hoping for them to come out flying and with passion (deja vu, we always think that).
That said, i am setting myself up for disappointment.
Not sure what to see from the Rangers tonight.
Will they come out hard at home because Renney has lit a fire under them?
Or will they shrink at the opportunity to make up some ground in the division and conference?
I think this could go either way to be honest.
Could be a very hard fought win with Weekes coming up big..
Or it could be another nightmare game on home ice.
Im leaning toward the second option, which is why im gonna tape the game and go play poker tonight instead .
