Honestly I think we were lucky to not avoid giving up more than one goal. Coyotes had a good amount of offensive pressure and the one goal they got was kind of a weird one.

Of course, we hit the post how many times? Guess it's a fair result. I guess.

I'm honestly unhappy with how it turned out, but most of y'all will hate me for being a Coyotes STH

Not the way to win, but hopefully it builds some confidence.

Price bailed them out. Nice to see Pacioretty get puck luck after the post and bar shots.

Galchenyuk looking better and better. Not rewarded because Gionta and Pleks can't finish anything, other wise would have had multiple assists. In opinion, if given the opportunity, will show to be Mtl's best playmaker

Nothing impressive imo
The Yotes are the Devils of the East, they are very tough to beat, very quick transition and solid all around play, but if we work as hard, we should win since we are the better team on paper and thats what happened..

DD still didn't look good. He lost the puck, gets help, wins the puck back to Pacioretty who throws it across.

Gionta looked better, but still, you can tell he's no where near as good and should go.

Briere got benched after a terrible penalty. Therrien wonders why this team is gassed all the time when you play a bunch of people 5, or less minutes.

PK with another dumb play that almost cost us if not for Gorges' diving poke check. We need to hit the net and screens in front. We don't have a single good screening player on this team.

Didn't look like a defensive blunder, just an accident. I think PK just tripped on his way back.

He threw a crappy pass to Gallagher that got intercepted and then tripped trying to get back....smart play would have been to throw it in deep.

If only Galchenyuk had someone on his line who could finish these great plays he sets up. The guy see's the ice so well.

If Therrien is going to revert to two offensive lines, a defensive line and a 4th line to give a breather to the first three, I would like to see Gionta drop with Eller to secure the defensive role and give Plekanec and Gionta an offensive right winger.

Pacioretty Desharnais Gallagher
Galchenyuk Plekanec Bourque
Prust Eller Gionta
Moen Briere/White Bournival

Remove Gionta and put a real sniper on that line and it would be perfect

Habs win 3-1. Plekasex scores twice and Briere scores an empty netter. Price stops 34 of 35 shots and earns first star.

9:55am

Habs DO win 3-1, Patches scored two goals instead of Plekanec, the Habs DID score an empty netter AND Price earns first star. Boom.

So that's why Desharnais looking to feed Pacioretty only.

It all makes sense now.

Eller with Moen and Prust is an outstanding 3rd line. They had chemistry. Galchenyuk is getting better and better.
Gorges made the defensive play of the year so far. Subban owes him dinner.
Gionta really concerns me with his newly cemented hands.
Play White, sit Briere. Briere is redundant.

Maybe MT isn't so dumb after all, lol. It's no big deal but the way some fans carried on when MT wasn't playing PK to protect a lead maybe now they know now why.

we just won one game, so i'll mirror the thing you guys do when we lose :

do we have the greatest team since the 70s habs? who can beat us in this league? like seriously they should just make one team with all the best player and have them play against us because we're literally unbeatable.

Therrien is the new Bowman
Bergevin is literally god and/or Kanye West
Pacioretty is on a pace to score 100 goal in the next 50 game EZPZ

I've been on the DD hate wagon for a while but tonight he played really good. He took more shot, he was creative, patient, he skated with the puck, he tried to use his speed. Many things we hadn't seen for a long time from him.

Switch Bourque/Bournival and Gionta maybe?
