Seen on twitter that McPhee and Oates loved the hit ?

Explains their fans I guess.

Thats freaking incredible. That was one of the worst hits ive seen and thought for sure he hurt his neck by the way it was just crushed into the boards.

What? He should know he's not allowed to have a life outside of HFBoards on game days!

It's really nice to see defensemen get points on every single goal scored and 12 of the 18 skaters get points tonight. For once it wasn't the PP and one line carrying the team to a win.

Yeah, Berube claimed they didn't give that game away (I think he's just trying to not throw his team under the bus there) but apparently it was a question Panotch asked earlier in the day & that seemed to grind his gears more.

Sometimes MSE has to shut down for routine maintenance.

And for those who wish we had Carle, Streit is now tied with Carle for points on a much worse offense, with 2 goals instead of 1.

Dishonest *****. If Rinaldo laid the exact same hit on Backstrom they would be screaming for a big suspension.

His offense is looking much better recently. I think he hit a post the last game and hit another one tonight before he scored. He helps make the second PP unit a legitimate threat to score.

Also worth giving credit to Read. He's a real stabilizer on that second unit.

Looked like a concussion at minimum the way his head flew into the boards. That means the suspension likely wont be more than a game or two.

I might be the only one here, but I dont think the Wilson hit was as awful as people are making it out to be. I agree with it being charging but it's clear to me Schenn turned at the last second. It's not a hit from behind if he doesn't turn.

I dont think Wilson should be suspended. The major was enough.

Streit needs to be shooting more, not just on the PP. He has an authentic heavy shot.

Yeah it didn't look good, I was just saying hopefully the stumbling was because he couldn't breathe from the wind being knocked out of him.

We'll know tomorrow when he gets reevaluated but he was fine apparently tonight after the game.

late glove save will be good for stonewall mason going forward.must have felt good to have solid performance and win over caps, worked out good for him to play them back to back and kick their ass.also streit looked strong-flat out shut ov down on that 1on1.getting some better shots from the point, finally, voracek+actually shooting=scoracek

Turning just changed the angle Schenn went flying into the boards. It was still a dangerous and reckless charge.

Schenn didnt see him coming, he turned his head back to the puck/wall before the moment of impact. Its clear Schenn wasnt ready to be hit.

It was a moronic charge though. Inexcusable.

I just finished watching the game on the DVR. Great to see that final score. That hit was horrible, though!

It wasn't a hit from behind even with the turn. Nobody is upset because they think it was a hit from behind.

If it was from behind, then you could blame Schenn for turning-- but that's not what the issue is here. The issue is the charge, so the turn really has nothing to do with anything.
