Has Streit & Gus been paired? Somebody said that a couple of games ago and also said since then they've looked good.

Maybe a little here and there but Gustafsson played with Schenn since he's been back in the lineup. Streit has been playing with Grossmann.

The times I've noticed them out together are usually at the tail-tend of a PP or right after a PK.

If Buffalo wanted Voracek, what kind of return would you guys want?

I don't know about the fan base, but Holmgren would probably want something based around Myers. Trading Voracek would create a big whole on the wing so some sort of young forward like Girgensons would he ideal if it was in a larger deal.

At the beginning of the season I would have said Vanek with the Flyers needing to add. Obviously with Vanek now gone that changes things.

I would maybe consider Myers as a starting point. Would also consider Buffalo's 1st if a trade were to be delayed until the draft and only if it was the first overall. Such a deal centered around the 1st overall would probably involve more pieces to balance things out however.

As it stands now Voracek is one of if not the best winger on the Flyers currently so the return would need to be good considering the hole it would create moving him.

Thread about Voracek has talk about defensemen? What? I must have missed when he got a position change and became a d-man.

I came across this rather amusing old thread from the Trade forum and thought it deserved some more exposure.

Credit to mja for accurate calling what Voracek would become this season.

Seems like we've got a bit of a bitter Boxscore. The struggle at ES is an interesting one though. I do believe that will fix itself with a defense that can move the puck and play a real transition game. We may see both G and Jake in the 90 point range when all said and done.

The way he plays you could just see that he would become a PPG winger

Well that page of the tread is... quite something...

Always funny to see someone argue something so adamantly but have no clue what they're saying.

Voracek will go to wich teams in nhl? I will trade him from Flyers.
For two class D-Men or one class center.
Top ten points guards in whole season.

We must give him to other team how can bring us lucky with two D-Men or one class 1st center. Lecavalier will bring us lucky if he stay. He is over 30 year now. Now I will Lecavalier left as first center or new first center in.

Only one good formation I wills.

Top six D-Men must were good.

New top goalie or Mason right destany for Philly?

Well now the season is almost finished, Hexy has a large task ahead of him to get Voracek to agree to a new deal before the beginning of next season. Flyers are always good when it comes to locking up players they like.

Now, what do you think he is going to get?

I am going to guess between 7.75-8.00 million per year for 6-7 years.

I'd love 7x7 but that isn't going to happen.

A bit above 8mx7

He does seem the type to give a small discount. He loves it here.

Ugh, that contract is going to be killer. Not in terms of value because that would be his rate, but it will kill the cap flexibility.
