Where are the new jerseys?

Wasn't the NHL supposed to come out with new tight-fitting, more ergonomical jerseys for the players? This was all the rage a couple of months ago. Now I don't hear anything anymore. Are they still going thru with this?

Thats supposed to be next season. They are unveiling the jerseys at the upcoming all-star game in Dallas.

Word on STL radio today is that the league is also going back to the home whites next season.

That's right. Watch the AS Game to see the new uniforms.

You also won't find any photos online. RBK and the NHL have done a good job on keeping the images secret. Any templates you may find online are all fake.

That doesn't make any sense, white is harder to see and you can't make any cool white third jerseys.

Third jerseys are supposed to be gone next season. I don't think that white is harder to see, but allowing the visiting team to wear their colors does bring more variety for attending fans.

Personally, I don't mind the switch if it is indeed the case. I just like to see consistency (ie no reverse jersey nights, etc.).

I haven't heard anything about going back to white at home. Personally, I don't think it is going to happen as the alternate jerseys are only being suspended for one season. This is to give RBK time to work with teams on alternate jersey designs for 08-09.

This makes sense if they're making new jersey's. Waste of money IMO, and the tight jersey's will be extremely ugly, but I guess Bettman knows what he's doing....

This is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. Someone may as well start a movement against this crap. Maybe enough uproar can stop the NHL from making the type of move that makes the NHL look desperate if anything to potential American NHL fans. Awful idea.

It's like MLB switching to more "pimp-track-suit" type uniforms. Dispicable.

Not really, road games on TV would give you that variety if you really need to see different coloured jerseys.

Hell if they switch again then all road games will be White vs You're teams colour.

i, on the other hand still haven't gotten over the humongous, priestly robe style jerseys so popular in recent years! i'm still sour!

come on! it's not like the sweaters haven't been changed before! no...this is the FIRST time the NHL has ever made an alteration to uniform style, damn you Gary Bettman!

everybody needs to get over it, my father and grandpa aren't suffering permanent emotional damage because of the way jerseys are now, neither will you guys when they change next.
