So TVA ensured I won't watch them almost a year before they officially play habs games, impressive.

Watch game and I'm out.

They had a chance to bring in credible guys like Denis, Biron, etc... but they choose Bergeron. Genius move.

They're also bringing in Jose Theodore. Yes, Jose "I don't talk to the Montreal media, it's their fault I failed a piss test / that my career went to crap / that my father in law is a child molester" Theodore will be a talking head on TV soon. Funny how nobody giving a crap about him did to the guy.

In a world when while it should be mostly information, but unfortunately happens to be solely "entertainment", Bergeron is a BIG loss for RDS. They were calling him their captain. And the greatest laughs was because of Bergeron. RDS was already not that interesting when they were serious...can't imagine how they'll be without the laughs now....Bergeron was and still is a good entertainer.

Of course, if you lived on another planet and expect to get some kind of real infos and intelligent analysis....you won't find that a great move....but that's solely if you are also somebody who is expecting to see some Playboy TV out of Teletoon....

Not sure why you think that they are already done. Others will jump ship, especially the day they know that the next 60 games are also going to TVA. Besides....Bergeron cannot be seen on TVA for the next 6 months...just like you're still not seeing Renaud Lavoie on RDS.

So Michel Bergeron is to RDS like Fournier is to 98.5FM?

The bold part...

Same here. Crap, when are we going to have a "confirmed with link" that we added a top 4 D or some winger who can score?

Who cares? He's so much more annoying than entertaining these days, he should just retire.

Rumours has it that show is never really sober.

Am thinking it the reason why he jumping ship now. By doing it now he can be there for September. It going to be fun watching faces disappear on RDS one by one especially if TVA grab the rest of the games.

Yup, they both are on contracts with RDS still, can't be on TV until those are done.

I really can't see RDS losing the regional games. Bell has the extra cash to overpay those regional games now. Rogers\TVA scored big with the playoffs but who really cares (ratings wise) about a PHX-NSH game.

So while TSN is locking up their guys, RDS guys are fleeing like rats from a sinking ship.

It's a bad move to start off with Bergeron.

It's akin to making boullion your 2nd pick in a fantasy draft.

The whole group sucks, they need fresh analysts.

The newer age guys like Bouchard(I know he's a GM now but just saying), Denis, Biron, etc... are probably something I'd pay attention to.

The old boys club again? Pass.

So yes, while it will be in a while, this isn't promising to me. You can't blame me either, it's Bergeron...

They have plenty of time to add other people, no doubt about it but this is a negative for me. If they were supposed to compete and bring a new vibe, hiring the same staff doesn't cut it for me.

We'll see what the future holds but I think they could've started off stronger than basically getting all RDS people.

Like him or not but this guy is entertaining. He can bring the lulz and that's what is needed sometimes.

like it or not, it's probably another sign that TVA will try to have all the habs games. He's well connected with the media (more than with the players I'm pretty sure of that. lol)

Wait a sec.

That guy runs the Midget AAA league, right?

...no wonder.

About Bergeron, well, he's funny. I don't listen to him for hockey insight though, so not really a big loss.

Meh. Never cared for his opinion and probably never will. I kind of hoped TVA would bring new blood. I guess it'll be the same old uninteresting talking after-game crap. Who watches l'Antichambre anyway? How many viewers? Do we know that? Still don't get what good can come out of this show.
