Yeah. I know. I'm being a bit of a Debbie Downer. My bad.

Incredible comeback!

Amazing that CBJ was 36-0-1 when leading after two and they blow that stat in such spectacular fashion.

Haven't enjoyed watching the Flyers play that much since April of 2012.

I totally felt like I was in that Bud Light/Coors Light commercial tonight. Everytime I was able to sit down and watch the game, CBJ would score within 2 mins. My wife joked that I was cursing the team after it went 3-0. I closed the laptop and we watched a movie. Checked my phone and couldn't believe it was 5-4 with 30 seconds left.

Sorry everyone for the crap start to this season. I'll stop watching!!!

Yea that has to be the best one in awhile. Best one since that Carolina comeback a few years back

I agree that's this team destiny, but a win like this is definitely worth celebrating.

This confirms that Hartnell is a line killer.

That almost makes up for the Capitals game meltdown.

I'm not going to pretend he's playing as well as he was two seasons ago but when he turns it on like tonight, it's quite obvious he's one of the best players in the world. This is the Giroux we all know and love.

Streit was good again, I don't care what anyone says,I hope they keep going with Gus. He could become a #4 offensive puck moving Dman.

Someone has to pay for the Legion of Dumb stopping play before the whistle on that goal, and damnit, it's gotta be Gus.

The good: Obvious

The bad: I've lost faith in 3 goals leads in the third period

The ugly: Whatever this is...

You never know, this could be the game that turns the season around. Maybe they aren't a .500 team to begin with. Since the 1-7 start, they have gone 15-8-4, I say that record indicates the type of team they are, not that horrible start. This is a game to build on, this team is slowly coming together, we just need Bobby Ryan.

I'm sitting here reading that thinking "When is this f'er going to mention Bobby Ryan like always" and right at the end you sneak it in.

I agree though, this third period is the type of team they could be.

I think what Raffl is doing to this line affirms this. When Giroux has a very skilled player playing with him (like JVR, Carter, Jagr) he plays his best. I pray that Ryan makes it to free agency and the Flyers can sign him.

Unofficially the other times the Flyers have had 5-1 third periods:

5-3 win vs. Montreal October 31, 1971
12-2 win vs. Detroit February 2, 1974
11-2 win vs. Washington April 1, 1976
