Actually I'd prefer for them to get the 8th because they sometimes match better with Ducks than with San Jose or other teams at the top, Detroit, Colorado, etc.....I'd take the Ducks

We've already gone through enough crap already this season... I would like to see them get that top draft pick out of this mess rather than make a feeble effort to get into the playoffs. That effort might have worked a month ago, but it's too late now.

Cut your losses, suck it up, call it a day, mail it in, and get the #1 pick.
I don't think the Kings will make the #1 pick. I think they'll end up around-a bit lower than where they've been picking the last few years.

We all knew this would happen............

After the Blues victory over the Devils tonight the Kings are only 1 point from being in last place in the Western Conference. With how well the Coyotes and Blues are playing as of late I can't see the Kings having worse than a top 3 pick in the draft.

I think this is a lost cause. Cloutier killed what chances of the playoffs that we could have had.

The hole is just to deep at this point.

To put it in perspective... Even when we play well, we struggle to get into the 6-8 spots.
