Ehhh...2-3 players who equal one player isn't as good as having that one player.

And now, of course, Grossmann has the flu so Gill is in

How is a 1st, 2nd and 3rd liner not as good as having a very good first liner?

Just to nitpick, it was Schenn, Simmonds, & a 2nd rounder (traded in a deal for Grossmann) for Richards.

Voracek, a 1st rounder (Couturier), & a 3rd rounder (Cousins) for Carter.

Luckily Columbus isn't too fast of a team but I still don't want Gill in especially seeing as he hasn't played in months.

Oh ****. I thought the 3rd was from the Richards trade and they got a 2nd from Columbus which they used on Stolarz. Never mind.

Bob was for a 2nd rounder (Stolarz) & a 4th rounder (Leier).

Sucks that Mez is beyond useless. I realize Gill is a stay at home guy so he's replacing a stay home d-man but if Mez were even decent that really wouldn't even matter.

Win this and Carolina lose and they have built a few game cushion over the rest of the Eastern playoff hopefuls.

Interesting decision to put Vinny on Couturier's line.

One line change as opposed to two if Lecavalier went elsewhere.

I'd think the team is used to change at this point. Keeping the lines the same is probably more of a bother to the boys these days.
