Watched the second and third of Today's game. Brust has a way to go before Crawford will play him as the #1. My money sez Fuji will get the next start. Weight's goal should not have happened. It's not as bad as Cloutier letting in a puck from center ice but Brust committed WAY too early to Weight and got PWNED by the veteran.

All in all it was two teams with shoddy defenses and average to horrid goaltending both ways in a great battle.

In all honesty, I think that shiner bothered Brust's vision.

You would think that the Kings would have checked him out before taking the ice. NBC showed a shot of his shiner and you could argue that it could have effected his vision.


....then again the Kings weren't exactly rock solid in their defensive zone.

Yeah, but I mean Brust hasn't played like that in his previous games. But yeah the defense was atrocious in front of him.
