Considering that guys like Perrault and Guerin are going (not to mention that Modry went in the past), you may not want to bow at the accomplishment

I'm surprised Jagr and Kovalchuk didn't make the list. Why did Shanny make it over Jagr? (Edit: I see Jagr wants to rest that weekend with his shoulder injury, same for Iginla) And Kovalchuk > Staal. Carolina already had another reperesentative.

Here's a question:
I thought we were supposed to vote for a left wing, a center, and a right wing to start the All-Star Game.

If so, then why is Sakic a starter alongside Thornton? Shouldn't a winger like Selanne have gotten the start? (Selanne is a right winger like Cheechoo but that's beside the point.)

Now why aren't I surprised that you had a negative comment to make...
Besides, with this years sorry *** team, there hasn't been much to be enthused about. You have to agree that Lubo is one of few the bright spots this year.

im a little up in arms why a guy like perrault made it and not Frolov. Or why Kessel made the young guns while semin didnt make it. He is like 7th in goals!

I am happy to see malkin in the young guns with kopitar. That will be a better game IMO

Yep. I was just making a general comment about the all-star selection process and how being named doesn't necessarily mean that you earned it (though Visnovsky did).

The NHL had fans vote for 3 forwards...centers and wings were not seperated so 3 centers could have started the game technically...

If you are going to nitpick two centers, how can you not nitpick left and right wingers? They are clearly different positions. Most guys only play one side...

The Perreault selection upsets me. I can think of at least 10 guys more deserving.

Kessel...sentimental choice. I bet if Semin lost a teste and came back, he would be there and not Phil.
