HEDIN HURTIN': The Leafs have moved Pierre Hedin to injury reserve list and finally provided an explanation for the mystery wound that kept him out of action the last two games.

"He got hit with a stick in the throat (against Philadelphia last Saturday) and it kind of hurt his voice box and it was recommended that he should not play in case another blow came to it," said coach Pat Quinn.
