I'm honestly impressed with how the eagles did this year. And I also believe that we may have our found our franchise quarterback.

I would not draft a qb in the first round

Too many other things are needed such as Safety and CB. Those should be concentrated on with LB and WR following. Do think we need to grab a WR in the first couple rounds. I dont know how well Maclin will do when he is back (or if he is even resigned) and while Cooper has done well he is a good 3/4 receiver not #1 or #2.

Going to disagree about cooper. It's pretty clear he has chemistry with foles. Vick never targeted him and thats the only reason hes not going to have 1000 yards receiving this year on top of 8 tds...very respectable numbers out of a number 2 especially factoring in he missed a game and averaged just 20 yards a week with Vick as qb.

Well...now I'll be devastated if they lose. No excuses to not get a w against a poor defense and back up qb.

Agreed. Although it's "any given Sunday," yadda yadda yadda... this needs to be a win.

E: especially after what just happened in Minnesota.

No reason why the Eagles should lose now.

According to Twitter Romo isn't ruled out yet. He's day to day with a herniated disc

herniated disk, when I heard the news thought it had something to do with his ankle. He hurt it yesterday.

CSN is saying that he's definitely out with a herniated disc that will require surgery.

There's nothing day to day about a herniated disc.

Having watched a couple family members endure them... you can't walk/sleep right, let alone play football. Frankly, I hope the Cowboys are dumb enough to try to let Romo play, but in reality, this is some asinine attempt at obfuscation.

You're right about the chemistry. In the nine games Foles started Cooper has averaged 77 yds and 0.78 tds per game. And while Jackson's yards average have dropped with Foles it is still very good at 80 yds per game with 0.67 tds per game. Both those WRs have produced at a rate like #1 WRs during Foles's starts (both would be at 1200-1300 yds & 11-12 tds if you multiply up to 16 games).

In my family, apparently it means you can't work ever again and become a stay at home Judge Judy enthusiast.

I don't expect to see Romo week 17.

I'm about to leave for the first of my three Christmas Days this week with my very dysfunctional family...hence three separate days. This literally made me lol, thank you.

I herniated one playing hockey in high school and was completely immobile for 3 days but completely fine after 2 weeks with PT. Only time it ever bothers me is if there's a strong weather system moving through. Doctor said they usually only operate when more than 1 are herniated.

Check out this article on CSNPhilly...Jerry Jones says something that, for me, just doesn't make much sense: http://www.csnphilly.com/football-ph...-add-jon-kitna

"The main thing is that it's not like Kyle Orton just gets here this morning or gets here tomorrow morning," Jones said. "Kyle Orton has been here and he knows this system frankly as well as Romo does. And has practiced it. He just doesn't have the game time that he would have had as the starter, and he doesn't get the reps."

That's like saying you can fluently speak another language...and are only able to recite curse words. GL Orton...

Sean Lee also out on Sunday. That's a bigger loss than romo IMO, he's like the only good player on that defense.

Yeah, that's definitely a huge loss. Whatever little hope Dallas had in stopping our run game, just went out the window. Their defense is a mess without Lee.

This is getting to the point where if we lose, every Cowboy fan I know will be unbearable for months.
