It depends who he's facing at the dot and where on the ice the drop occurs. He does it quite often and is able to win both right and left handed.

Yes. He can take face offs right and left handed.

An asinine too many men offense followed by a cross check on the kill = Bruins goal. Brainfarts kill.

###### make it two goals.

0 for on the kill tonight.

Preds just shoot themselves in the foot all the time. Smith gets a goal then then have 2 penalties and they score on the 5 on 3.

Preds must have the most mental lapses in the NHL. Goes from 3-2 to 5-2 in a matter of minutes

With our goaltending we have to be perfect, which isn't going to happen.

Poile's cheapass plan of not going to get a goalie when Rinne first went down has put us in horrible shape. Stand Pat Poile..... Horrible... Horrible GM....

For all of your complaining ... what did our goaltending do in the first few games after Rinne went down? Oh yeah 3-1-1 while thinking Rinne was out four, maybe six, weeks. In the mean time the only real option on the market was Bryz (1-4-0, worse GAA than Hutton entering tonight to go with the worse record ... not to mention injured). Our rookie goalies are inconsistent .... sucking some games, both earning NHL stars of the week. The inconsistency is evident in the skaters as well. Our once hailed defense is absent many nights. Our discipline is lacking as evidenced in the numerous too many men penalties. Hell, when was the last time we won the even strength battle in a game? Fisher, Legwand, Hornqvist combined for 3 goals so far this month ... THREE with only Fisher's at ES.

But yeah ... it's all the goaltending's fault.

As bi-polar as our goaltending is from night to night, where the #### is our leadership group? Fisher, Hornqvist, Legwand with one ES goal this month, three goals total. All of Weber's goals for the month on the PP. Why is Hendricks getting in teammates' faces and not Weber? It's easy to scream blame Poile or Trotz ... but the alleged leadership group is absent. In my line of work, they'd be relieved.

True. He played well the past couple games. I'm sure JD is looking for new adjectives to describe him.

Oh, I agree with this also........except for Hornqvist.... I thought in the first period we might see Horny's first fight. He was battling.

Hornqvist plays a scrappy game every night ... shows effort every shift ... but almost no results at ES in forever. We need our allegedly best players to be our best darn players every game. That simply is not the case right now.

I'm not seeing the effort of years gone by. We used to have teams that fought for 60 minutes even when outskilled ... this squad isn't showing that level of heart. This team has the individual talent to put up 4-6 players at or above the 20 goal plateau but it isn't performing well enough as a unit for the parts to reach those levels. We disappear for periods at a time.

I stopped watching the game after we went down three goals and focused on the bench instead.

Didn't really see much of anything there either.

According to some here he is lower than dirt and will never be even an average NHLer.

But yeah this team has mediocre everything. Goaltending,Defense,Offense… all mediocre. No passion, lack of discipline etc. the list goes on. I've defended the Preds brass for a long time but the buck stops at the top. It's time for a change.
