I'm super sorry but if we include anime then it's

1 Berserk

(5 blank pages)

2 GoT

Here I go again on my high clown horse but really if you don't know Berserk you must check it out because you missed a piece of art. Download the english manga or watch the show even though it's old.

I missed about half a decade worth of anime watching and apparently there are also 3 films now with rave reviews.

Just rewatched one of my all time favourite films - Name of the Rose.

A brilliantly crafted film based on the beautiful novel by Umberto Eco, IMO one of the world's finest authors.

A MUST see film.

You hit it pretty well on the head. I felt the plot was like just one step after the other, nothing subtle or intricate at all. This has to happen so here is why, I swear after about 20mins the end had already been laid out.

I just watched superman and after seeing snyder had directed it I had high hopes, god what a piece of crap. I can't wait for this superhero/comic book fad to die out.

Berserk was alright, first episode was by far the best and the rest had a lot of filler. I never read the comics but damn did I want more after seeing that first episode. If you want to see possibly the greatest anime series I have ever seen go watch Samurai Champloo. FLCL is a pretty fun ride too.

Berserk and Ninja Scroll are my favorite anime of all time. If you're fans of those then I highly recommend Claymore and Fullmetal Alchemist was pretty good too.

I just watched Breaking Dawn 2.. what a waste of money.. only 20 min was worth it.. they could've merged both movies into one.

And the ending was such a let down..

South Park is easily one of the greatest shows of all time. No holds barred take on relevant current topics in a comedic light. It's so political these days and just attacks agendas relentlessly, impossible to not love!

The thing with American Hustle was that it was essentially Goodfellas-on-coke. I liked it but they were playing fast and loose and though it was fun it was pretty light on story.

Looking forward to Wolf of Wall Street.

As a TV series junkie, I'll chip in with my top 5:

1. Rubicon - really, really liked it, but it got canned after only 1 season. The single most intelligent show I've seen in my life. It really hit home. Shows that make you think beyond just trying to get past convoluted dialogue? This is a dyeing breed these days.

2. Breaking Bad - still remember when I channel surfed onto the Pilot...who would've thought...loved it to bits and still re-watch my favorite episodes time to time.

3. Game of Thrones - this one has a chance to start sliding in my list I feel. I just don't like character development. Not questioning it, just don't like it.

4. House of Cards - I'm a Kevin Spacey cheerleader and also love political dramas. A match made in heaven, I mean I must've missed a call from Netflix when they wanted to tell me that my show it about to be released.

5. This is a tough one as I've got a clear top 4 and a bunch of shows after. It's a toss up between "Big Bang Theory", "The Shield", "The Wire" and perhaps "Luther". Depending on the day and time I might prefer one over another.

What do you guys think of Transcendence?

I'm glad singularity will be brought to the mainstream. The backbone to so many classics: Matrix, Terminator, just to new a few. Legitimately hyped for this.

For those of you who don't know, this movie is directed by Wally Pfister. Pfister has been Nolan's cinematographer for many movies including the Dark Knight and Inception.

Apparently Person of Interest has become a legitimately good show. Season 1 was fine, I abandoned it in season 2 but I guess I'll give it another try.

If I could give out one oscar for 2013, it would be to Daniel Bruhl for his portrayal of Niki Lauda in Rush.

Just finished watching Suits. I really like it. However, I am finding season 3 to be way less entertaining than the first 2 seasons were. Season 1 was brilliant.

I think that's because the novelty is wearing off. Suits debuted great and made for a very entertaining hour of television at first, but they keep going to the well a little too much and it needs for fresh ideas. Harvey's shtick is growing tiresome for me personally.

Ya, and I also find that for these supposed very smart people, they're pretty stupid.
