and let me say again ... Can we blow a game out for once.. this down to the wire stuff is hard on a fan.. but another 2 in the bank..now on to the well rested Leafs..
Good win today. I was fortunate enough to listen to most of the first 2 periods at work (sneeky guy I am), then got home right as Vinny scored his goal. One thing I've noticed is these one goal games don't give me nearly the heart failure as they did a week or so ago. Could that be confidence from CSF? I don't know.
My guess would be Denis, but with Torts you never really know.
Torts actually made a comment about the goaltending after the game when he was signing autographs. (Yes, our head coach was signing autographs.) Someone asked if he could start Denis for a certain game, and he laughed and said it all depended on his play. At the time it made no sense to me, because of how Denis played the other night, and Torts love of playing the hot hand. I wish I had asked him about it. In all honesty, Torts could not have been nicer though. He signed and talked to everyone who wanted a signature. Better than some others...*Cough* Boyle, Marty, Richards, Perrin *Cough*

Gobolt - Torts often signs for fans and he is really a very nice person when not critisizing his players in the press. Sorry I had to get that in there but really off the ice and out from behind the bench he's a really great guy.
When the team arrived back from NJ in 2003 after they lost that playoff series there were alot of people waiting at the airport and he went around and made sure that he said thank you to each person and shook most of their hands too. Very classy IMO.
i'm so pleased, 5 straight wins, we've won 6 of 7 and overall they're playing very well....just realized we're only 8 pts behind Atlanta for the no. 3 seed!
I got Vinny to sign something, but it was not for me. (It was just easier for me to get his attention by yelling that I came all the way from Florida and was freezing )
