Ball Hockey in Huntington Beach

Hey all:

A buddy of mine and I are putting in a ball hockey team at the roller rink in HB. We're looking for a few more good players and I figured I'd try the message board to see if any folks were interested in playing. The league begins in Jan 2014 and all games will be played on Thursday nights.

As a heads up, this is not for a roller team. Please shoot me a PM if interested - I can give you details on cost, etc.

Ducks Nation you down for this? 85 bucks games on Thursdays. We need more players, if the team gets 12 price goes to 70.

Ball hockey is usually played in tennis shoes, not on skates. As he hints at in his post:

As a heads up, this is not for a roller team.

He should have made it clearer though.

I wouldn't recommend playing in that league. The refs are very poor and don't control games.

The last game I played there, the only time penalties were called were when guys actually started swinging at each other. Two guys left that game with injuries.

If you'd like to play ball hockey, look into the league on Knott and Chapman in Garden Grove. I play there on the weekends. It's a good league.
