Does anybody know if it's possible to get High-end bauer or ccm sticks with the flag of Canada on them? I saw the Canadian players at the world juniors all have these. The Americans have the American flag on theirs. The only thing I found was this: http://www.hockeymonkey.com/bauer-ho...le-gr-int.html

These are only for bauer though, I'd like to find the rbz stage 2's with the flag on them too, like the players have. Maybe only the players at the tournament can use these. I don't know. Can anybody help? Thanks!

I personally need a flat blade. I dont think I have found that perfect blade pattern yet but I am pretty content with the Iginla/Stamkos style blades. Zetterbergs Easton too.

I dont like much of a curve, I just dont have much of a feel on a large curve.

APX has been fine. Too soon to tell for APX2. The only issue that had shown up for APX was the blade creaking slighty die to rubbing from the carbon layers and the foam core. Not a huge structural issue.

Custom Bauer's have that option. Pro stock if you're lucky. Sometimes select retailers offer limited editions of high end as you saw, so I would keep Googling

Another question, I see that the Backstrom Bauer pattern is comparable to RBK Crosby A87 and I'm wondering how comparable is the Datsyuk to the Backstrom?

Sorry for all of the questions, it would be easy to go into the store and check all this out but I'm purchasing on their website and the Boxing Day sale ends tonight..
I have a Reebok 20K, I have played with it probably 16 times and it looks almost like new. I am a bear league player. The blade is fine and the stick has lots of springiness still.

I had the 20k for about 10 months and used it about 4 times a week. Great durability but I just never found the right pop with it. Finally broke because I smashed it over the goal. Worth the money if you like. Most likely will not break if your not playing pro.

Just picked up a Bauer Vapor X80 Kane 85 Flex and a Reebok 20K Crosby 85 Flex. Already used the Kane and it's pretty good. Can't wait to try out the 20K though.

I too picked up the X80, but I got the P92 (Backstrom) curve with a 75 flex. I really like the Vapor series so I'm hoping this stick is the same!

And for the guy who asked about a Canada flag sticker thing for your stick: Couldn't you buy a Canadian sticker type of material to put on your stick? It serves the same purpose.

The best trick. Boxing Day sale + gift cards + clearance. They are selling them for $179 otherwise at Total Hockey.

Funny story, I work at Sport Chek. Have sold so many Nexus 1000s and 20k this week with both being on sale for 139.99. Bargain. Great job while going to school.

Love it. Bought two this summer and haven't had a single issue, whatsoever.

For whatever reason, not a fan of the 20k.

Had my first skate today with my APX stick P08 curve, and I've fallen in love with it. It's just like an exaggerated Sakic curve with a lower lie and more rocker. I can definitely see the issue it has to keep shots low, but everything else is magic.
Bauer really screwed me this time, as the P08 curve is only available on the T1 NXG, Nexus 1000 and APX2 at my LHS. I am doomed to buy $250 sticks

Total Hockey has some good deals on 2012s right now. The Easton Mako and the Sherwood N12 intermediate are both just $89.99, with seniors $99.99. Those are great sticks at that price. I picked up an n12 (my third).

I usually only use intermediate sticks because of the weight and flex. But a couple of months ago I ordered a whip stick and after purchasing the intermediate I was notified they only had senior stick. I was really bummed out but I excepted the stick. Its a whip hockey game time series stick. And it is the best stick I have ever owned. The brand whip hockey is for girls but I think guys could use the stick. But probably wouldn't because of the colors. So if there are any girls reading this check out whip hockey. The sticks are 190. It's way more expensive than i'm use to. Once this stick breaks I probably won't replace it, I'll have to go back to my Warrior Dynasty Ax4, I was really enjoying that stick for the price.

I've ended up with quite a collection of sticks over the years but what I use is Warrior Dynasty AX1 (W01) and Reebok A.i 9 (P42). Love 'em!

Unfortunately, those curves can only be found on mybauer. Even if you found them at an online retailer, you would have to pay $250 for it, as they would only be available on APX2/NXG/Nexus1000.

That being said I still bought more and went through three of them.

Now I'm using the Easton Mako 85flex with a hall curve and love it, but much like the x:60 they break ALL THE TIME. I guess that's the curse of using a stick that light.

I think next I'm going to go with an Easton RS. Played around with one in the rink shop the other day and it felt nice. Anyone have any love/hate for it?
I've used the RS and RS2 for a few years now. The RS2 is more durable, but I think the RS has better pop in my opinion. Sportchek was selling the RS for $140 awhile ago. I use 85 flex and it gets whippy after awhile. The length of my stick is average to short, and I'm around 170 pounds.

I'll try the V9 after I break these. I held one the other day and took some shots and it was deadly.

I think it's just a My Bauer thing. The P12 is the Iginla curve, right?

Right on the P12. P89 is a Warrior Vanek equivalent

You could look for pro stock sticks with a similar curve, or settle for an Iginla blade.
PS: MyBauer sticks are over $300. Ouch !
