Who gets benched for carrying the puck in? Be honest.

Yet again we give up a goal right after we score one.

It's like clockwork. I've never seen anything like it.

Benched or moved down a line. Of the skilled players that I have witnessed, Smith, Wilson, are the first ones ( that are capable )Forsberg tried as well. It just makes little sense to me except if guys are not as skilled. If you have possession and there is a play that you can 9 times out of 10, keep it.........KEEP IT. Instead they dump the puck and have a 50/50 chance of regaining it.
I have seen Legwand, Erat, Kostytsin and Radulov do it as well and lose it occasionally, but they would not get benched. I would far rather see that, than this boring "pick up the garbage" style of play!

64 is having a very bad game tonight.

That being said, we should score immediately after the commercial break as Dallas just scored a little under a minute ago. If we don't, something is seriously wrong.

Be honest. Trotz constant line is get the puck deep. Reduce turnovers and get the puck deep. Let me translate that for you. Dump and chase.

If he comes down there, and gets into a scrum that the linesmen were already in on the faceoff comes out of the zone. Just an fyi....

So you lie ( 1: to make an untrue statement with intent to deceive
2: to create a false or misleading impression -- Merriam Webster) about benching and attribute guys attempting to "carry the puck" as the reason why players get less ice time and not the real issues that lead to it?

Just remember the Dallas coach was fired last season by the Sabres............ He does have a few nice toys to play with in Dallas but he did in Buffalo as well. Its not always the coach. But in our case Trotz may well have lost the lockerroom. The forwards are bad real bad but its the same game in and game out. No change in behavior by the players.

where the faceoff is dropped should be the least of the worries. need a fire lit up under them. maybe nystrom needs to get KO-ed again. ....

here we go

Dump and chase when carrying the puck is not an option based on the defense. Or are you the next to lie about players benched for carrying it in? Every coach preaches get the puck deep and minimize turnovers .... let me spell that out

coach from pee-wee through the NHL stresses those basics. Have you ever heard a coach tell his team to turn it over no deeper than the blueline?

Me neither.

Ya, that's right, I'm lying! The Preds way is the "safe" way. That means, dumping the puck deep and HOPING to regain possession!
Hope-Webster
: to want something to happen or be true and think that it could happen or be true..........
It "could happen, but far too often....this team loses possession!
