Garth Murray on waivers...

I think the Oil should have a look at this guy - kind of a poor man's Darcy Tucker, very scrappy and hard nosed - something that we sorely lack in the line up...

I think the last thing the Oilers need right now is a "poor man's" something. Getting a poor man in relation to another player isn't going to get the Oilers our of their slump. Why doesn't Lowe trade for a "rich man's" asset?

He's like Raffi Torres without the goals.

Lots of energy, but after a while the energy wares off, and he is rendered useless. We all know how bad Raffi Torres is when he doesn't skate and doesn't hit, so one of those is enough.

not after his first two seasons in the AHL

he is considered a 3rd liner in the ahl at best

When you fish around the bottom of the barrell you pull out things like Nedved only once in awhile because he fits, I don't think Murray has any possibilites here.
