Hossa and Hnidy score to make it 2-1 after one. The 'big 3' all have points, which is a nice start.
Kovalchuk is really due for a multi goal game somewhere along the line... Sure he's got those 2 hattricks, but I don't think he's got a 2 goal game all year? Dismal!
Still confused about that Kovy/Slater goal, didn't see Slats make contact but they ended up giving it to em' (then again the angle they showed it from sucked).
Don't know if it's the opposition or the PP is actually improving but dare I say it actually looks decent tonight? Second game in a row where the PP has managed to convert at least once (but then again, when you get 7 chances you're bound to get one eventually).
That goal was credited Slater.. Thereby limiting his goalless streak to a measly 9 games - 16 games below his season's best. Better luck next time, Jim.

Someone on the Kings board said they are changing it to Kovalchuk's goal, so Jimmah's streak lives on.

You do know we have the worst PK in the league right?
Ah Crap....we went into the 3rd with a lead and promptly gave up a goal....I mean come Freaking on. We are not giving this lead up tonight. I can not take another 3rd period melt down.

I wouldn't worry about it, I mean it's just the Kings.

Sure didn't, but I should be more specific when I say "improving", I mean not relying solely on Kovalchuk's slapshot. Although that could be a good reason why .
Speaking of the PP, Hoss picks up another on the man advantage.
