He is back on the ice. Looks like it was just a stinger, hitting a nerve somewhere in the knee.

Well our games against Columbus this weekend got a little easier with Rick Nash and Duvie Westcott heading to the IR today. Alexandre Picard and Derrick Walser were recalled from Syracuse.

Due to the Avs win in SO ... The Preds move within 3 points of the Ducks with 2 games in hand ... this is possibly the closest we've ever been to the Conference Lead in our History ... anyone care to correct me?

I'm not 100% sure, but weren't we top of the conference after getting off to our great start last year?

But this is the closest we've been this late in the season by far.

I want to say that Detroit had a few more games played at the beginning of last year and they were like 10-2 and had the lead when the Preds were 8-0. But then again, thats only 2 points so I dont really know.

Aren't we now tied with Buffalo for 2nd overall in the entire league? They lost Saturday and I think we now have the exact same record. If we get a win Monday we'll move ahead of them and be one point behind Anaheim.

I wasn't even paying attention to 1st overall since I just assumed ANA/BUF were so far in front. I've just been watching the Central standings.

hey look it's chicago and the jackets on VS. and the blues were on this past weekend against the kings. good to know that the four worst teams in the west that don't sellout either can get national games. do you think we get a national game if we make the conference finals? well at least our lone game is getting close(1.30 vs Avs). if it were not for FSN or CBC/TSN we would get no love at all.

Last night was one of the rare times in my time as a hockey fan that I actually cheered for the Blues. They didn't just beat the Ducks, the dominated them. The Ducks looked awful! What a difference Pronger and Giguere make.

that's about 4 times as many goals as Vasisuck has

stats for the year: Walker (48 GP 15g-16a 31 points +1) - Vasicek (33 GP 4g-8a 12 points +1)

You know I have actually cheered for the Hawks, Blues, and Jackets on a regular basis this season. I'll continue to do so unless they catch up to us in the standings.

Dont get me wrong, I hate them all with every ounce of my being. But I am eager to shed the "Comedy Central" title. Plus, we win as long as they beat everyone else and we still beat them!

Edmonton . The Ducks are in a terrible slump right now. Without Giguere, Pronger, and to some extent Beachumin.....they just can't get it done.

Jackets taking on the Wings, tonight.

Hopefully they can, for once, do us a favor

I remember when you used to proclaim that while you were fond of the Preds, the Wings would always be your first love

I'm tired of the Wings winning the division. Stick it to them.
