First someone calls us classy, and now this? I am confused

Seriously though, I agree. Always nice to see comradarie among hockey players.

Are they trying to keep Vinny off of faceoffs while his back gets better?

I'm one of the lightweights who went to bed after the first period, so it was great to wake up and see that they had won.

I only watched the first two periods and thought we were average, a lot of giveaways, I hope we play better against the Flames
.
Giroux 's goal was excellent not only is he carrying our team on his back but also the Nucks team

Isn't Vancouver sometimes referred to as Vancouverdam? No wonder they're a happy bunch.

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that Coburn is starting to revert back to his brain dead mode? He's made some god awful and head scratching plays the past five or six games.

Yes I noticed it the last few games, but i still think he is our best defence man

The rebound control was pretty shoddy last night but damn did he make some nice saves. Definitely kept us in it while the Sedins had their way with our defense.

He's had a few really good games, so now its time for some really terrible games. This is the way of the Coburn.

Except he hasn't had any really terrible games at least not since the beginning of the season. The past three or so games he's made some errors. Last night none were costly and lets not forget who he was playing against for most of those 25 minutes. I don't think it's fair to say he was terrible last night.

He's been far and away our best defender this year.

Forgot to check to see the final tally, but Kesler dominated Giroux in the faceoff circle.

Just looked it up. Giroux won 6 of 15 vs Kesler... yet still finished above 0.500 in the dot for the night.

when the game started and i saw 41 was dressed, i leaned over to my buddy and said "Mez is on?, ugh well u watch he's good for at least 1-2 goals against FOR SURE!!!"..

sigh....

i watched him pretty closely every shift he was constantly beaten by his guy. or flat out not even watching his assignment. ala the goals..

soooo maddening to watch him play...

Grossmann on the other hand is a treat. at one point i think i heard a "Grossmann smash" off the far end boards clear across the building...

There was a point last night where Coburn, Mez, B. Schenn, Rinaldo and some other guy were out for a shift against the Sedins. Full tilt butt clench mode.

Could be worse, could have been Mez, Streit, Vinny, Simmonds and Rinaldo out there.

I finally just got to finish this game on the DV after working all day. I went out of my way to not find out the score today.

These are my two favorite teams.. Flyers are number one, and the Canucks are my second favorite team. I went into the game so sure the Canucks would win. They did have 2x the shots on net too. Wow... What a goal by Giroux and what a game!

Haha, I'm glad I'm not the only one watching games with a delay and avoiding the score if necessary

Fully agree on both counts. I'm not a fan of Giroux, but that was a thing of beauty and he's playing great. And I don't really see the Canucks' games much other than the highlights and the playoffs, but the Sedins are amazing together. Hansen also fit well on that line, and some of the passing plays they had were just mind-blowing.

I watch most of the Canucks games. The Sedins are very good. I am also a fan of Bieksa, and actually have a Canucks Bieksa jersey. I was very surprised with the final result.

As for the DVR. I finally got to see the Calgary game today - I had just finished watching the Flyers/Canucks game when it was about to start. I figured I'd watch it today when I had the time. Very happy with the result of that one too!
