Didn't see the first half, but the second looked like men vs boys, in our favor. I was even thinking I'd feel totally emasculated if I was a flames fan in the crowd.

Some numbers:

Flyers 58%-42% advantage in faceoffs.
Flyers 10-to-7 in shots
Flyers 7-to-2 in blocks.

Good period for B Schenn and Streit. Streit for obvious reason and Brayden for accepting the bad pass from Simmer, drawing a d-man and turning away to set-up Streit for the first goal. Also driving the net on the Hartnell play that almost led to another Flyers goal.

I would like the team to tighten up a bit in their own zone though.

They looked at times like they were playing with the same desperation as the last 6 minutes in the third period last night. Hope it keeps up. It's really making me wonder if someone set some end-of-the-year ultimatum.

Maybe but I think it's just as likely that this just the result if Chief ripping them a new one. He was pissed after last night.

Rinaldo took a little bit of a dump on the ice and they're not sure if he got any help with that or not if I understood the Flames' announcer correctly

ASF said on Twitter he is checking into Read's absence.

Per Sam C.: Read apparently took elbow to head and is not on bench.

Ok, that was bad.

Also, the Flames were offsides entering the zone there (as the Flyers were just seconds before).

It's pretty telling when your 4th line gets dominated by another 4th line with Westgarth and McGratton on it.
