I wouldn't expect any news until tomorrow night.
My guess would be Erik Reitz and either Stoner/Stokes, though maybe even one with Carney might be able to play Friday.

What's the deal with these injuries? I'm wondering how we would survive in the playoffs (if we manage to get there).

Take as one example, Carney. Before he joined us I thought of him as tough and gritty warrior in the mold of a Chris Chelios. Now I think of him as a fragile old man.
Bad back aside, he has left the ice in more than one instance when it seemed he could have continued.

Never had your back seize up on you, eh? When it happens, it's like pulling a hamstring, you can barely move. I don't recall him pulling out of games for anything other than his back. Can you (or anyone else) be more specific?

I personally think that he's not playing as tough, i.e., face-washes, handbags and etc., because he's concerned about his back. I agree with you that we're not getting the tough guy we thought we were getting. I wonder if its his back.
