There was no mention of an injury but he only had three shifts in the second period with one less forward.

Schenn and not lowering themselves to the level of their competition is what won this one.

Can we call up Nashville and trade our next three first round picks for Weber? I really think this team could win a cup with the addition of a number one defender. And then after the season we could hopefully trade one of hartnell or Vinny for a 1st to make up for the loss of ours in this years draft.

Could only watch the first period. From what I saw, they looked pretty good. Happy to see the W. Hopefully Brayden Schenn and Hartnell are starting to heat up.

Happy New Year guys!

For as much slack as he gets here Hartnell quietly has a 5 game point streak going currently & has 7 points in his last 8 games.

There's really only two occaisons I can think of where Hartnell looked good while getting good results. One was when the Hobbit and Leino line was on fire in 2010, and the other was with Jagr and Giroux as his linemates. Somehow he usually looks like crap, even when he's doing his thing.

Streit with 7 pts in his last 8. The billed offense is coming on it seems.

Obviously a guy like meszaros would have to go to Nashville as a cap dump, as well as Rosehill and Gill being sent down. But I believe the cap numbers could work.

I don't think I can take another year of Weber trade fantasies.

Did it ever remotely occur to you that Leino and Hobbit were on fire because of Hartnells hard work ?Watch the old clips and take a good hard look ? Hartnell gets little recognition from a lot of " novice" type fans because they cannot get past the fact he is not a great or smooth skater.......Its just that simple .
